"Why do you love me?" or "Why do you think I love you?" Are questions that I consistently ask Josh. Today, while we were in line at Fry's Electronics picking up season 5 of the Star Trek: Voyager series, Josh said, "I love you." I in turn asked him, "Why?" His answer was to hold up the season of Star Trek he was holding and say, "Because we can be nerds together."
Since we have been married we have amass several TV series on DVD. We buy them one season at a time usually over a year or so. I bought all 7 seasons of The Road to Avonlea on my own, and I also bought seasons 1-4 of The Cosby Show. Then we bought all 10 seasons of Friends. Josh really liked the Stargate: SG1 series, so we did all 10 seasons along with the 3 DVD movies that ended the series. We are now working on Star Trek: Voyager. We have 5 out of the 7 seasons so far. We plan on getting the entire series of Star Trek: The Next Generation after that. After all of these, who knows?
It is nice to be nerds together and enjoy the same things. You can all make fun of us all you want, but we find any way we can to enjoy each other's company.
